Sales Associate
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibility of the Sales Associate is to generate revenue by selling, managing, developing and growing existing and new clients. The Sales Associate needs to uphold our mission statement in all he/she does and fulfill sales and profit goals for their territory.
Responsibilities/DUTIES
- Consulting to our existing and potential clients
- Initiate sales process by understanding account requirements and sales history
- Building rapport with potential/existing clients and solving challenges they have with our products and services
- Overcoming objectives
- Expanding sales by introducing new services and products to existing and potential clients
- Identifying customer needs and overcoming them with our products and services
- Desire to continually increase industry and job knowledge
- Minimal travel for trade shows and customer training.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Great communication skills
- Persistence in meeting sales goals while adhering to policies
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Organizational skills
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in mathematics and basic problem solving
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication
- Ability to prioritize, delegate and effectively manage and accomplish multiple sales tasks
- Pass drug and background check
- Must have own transportation and valid driver license
- Minimum 2 years of previous sales experience not required, but given higher consideration…
