Advanced Spot & Stain Removal |
Consumer Surveys of those who have their carpet professionally cleaned consistently show that one of the primary reasons why consumers hire a professional is because they believe the professional can do a better job of removing spots and stains. You can clean 999 square feet of dirty carpet perfectly, but if there is still a green stain in the living room that did not come out, the customer is still disappointed.
The Advanced Spot & Stain Removal workshop will equip you with everything you need to know to get out virtually every stain – including mustard and children’s fruit drinks. The class will teach you the chemicals, procedures, an insider secrets and “tricks of the trade.” You will learn ways to remove the most difficult stains without a dangerous iron and without messing up a bunch of towels. You’ll have a better understanding of all of the chemicals in your arsenal, and when to use them most effectively.

Commercial Cleaning |
High speed low moisture commercial carpet cleaning is a must for the cleaning contractor, especially during times such as seasonal slow downs or economic down turns, etc. Commercial properties have image and health concerns (IAQ) to consider as well as simple appearance issues. They typically are not affected by the standard industry trends that you may run into with the residential market. In many cases there is no additional equipment needed to perform commercial carpet cleaning. However, diversifying into encapsulation cleaning gives tremendous advantages over standard hot water extraction methods.
Low moisture encapsulation cleaning allows you to achieve two to three times the production rates of HWE while many times gaining a superior result. This equates to $200 - $300 per hour or more with less overhead and job cost. This also opens up a tremendous opportunity to pick up other services in the building such as stone care, tile and grout cleaning, wood cleaning and more. Now is the time to pursue commercial carpet cleaning.

Pet Odor Removal |
Finally, an effective yet simple way to get rid of the stink. Almost every single job you go on has an organic odor problem in one form or another, especially those odors coming from pets.
This short seminar will teach you some of the most effective yet simple ways to handle pet odor problems. Not only is deodorization very profitable when done correctly, it is also an extremely valuable service for your customer.

Upholstery Cleaning |
Upholstery cleaning has taken on many changes over the last decade or so. The introduction of some new cleaning tools, combined with the furniture industry's push to produce and sell more "family friendly" fabrics has led the cleaning contractor to believe he can clean virtually any fabric with his standard carpet cleaning chemicals and his upholstery tool. However, this is not the case. It is still extremely important to follow proper cleaning fundamentals when cleaning upholstered fabrics.
There are many companies around the country that clean only furniture and avoid carpet cleaning altogether. They do this because of the lack of competition and the profitability of furniture cleaning with a lot less equipment cost. For example, you don't need an expensive truck mount to clean upholstery.
Nearly every occupied structure you enter has upholstery cleaning opportunities. This seminar will teach you the tools, chemistry, fundamentals and techniques necessary to provide the profitable and valuable service.

Wood Floor Care |
Contractors often wonder, "Why get into wood floor cleaning and maintenance? I don't have the training or equipment nor have I had the desire to learn it". If this is you, please consider this:
- Over 500 million square feet of hardwood flooring was installed in 2005. Now is the time to service it.
- Carpet is usually the first thing to go during any remodel.
- The Hydro-Force System was introduced as an alternative to the tricky and technical processes of the past. It is a dust free, odor free system that is easy to learn and your job is finished usually within a few hours.
- You have fewer customers calling for carpet cleaning services due to the economy. You must diversify your offering and embrace the opportunity that comes from those that are calling.
This system will teach you the basics of hardwood floor care and will add tremendously to your bottom line.

Oriental Rug Cleaning |
Most every home or office building you enter has wood, tile or stone flooring somewhere on the premises. This means most of these floors also have area rugs. This provides a tremendous income opportunity for the "on-location" cleaner for cleaning and protection of these rugs. This service brings about an average charge of $1.00 - $300 per square foot depending on fiber type and construction and can usually be done on location.
As you move into "investment grade" or heirloom rugs which can be valued in the tens of thousands of dollars or more, there are "In Plant" procedures available. These require special training and typically a significant investment to get involved: however, this is a very profitable service that many times brings in fees of $3.00 to $7.00 per sq foot or more.
